The Zoological Society Conservation Education Department offers a variety of school programs in accordance with Common Core, State of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Model Early Learning and Next Generation Science Standards. All classes offer engaging educational experiences about science, animals and conservation! This fall, we anticipate offering limited in-person programs and virtual offerings through ZooConnect.
Inquiries for fall 2021 will be accepted for programs starting mid-September via an online inquiry form. We anticipate offering school programs as of mid-October. Our in-person school programs are dynamic experiences that allow learners in grades K-5 to connect to the Milwaukee County Zoo! Programs provide students with the opportunity to observe animal biofacts (skulls, fur, etc.), and may include a live animal encounter or time in the Zoo. All in-person school programs for fall 2021 will take place at the Milwaukee County Zoo. More information about the variety of in-person programs, program costs and policies will be forthcoming.

ZooConnect provides fun, interactive, standards-based programming with a variety of virtual learning experiences. This age-appropriate virtual programming is designed for K-8 educators and learners to activate curiosity, expand knowledge, and foster empathy for animals and the natural world.
